Waterfront and Urban Intervention
Havana, Cuba
This project, located on a 10-hectare plot along the waterfront of Havana, should be understood as an illusion, a dream.
It is a proposal drawn with the freedom of the senses. The formal gestures are inspired by the rhythm of the people, by the rhythm of the city as it reaches the sea.
The gentle and open movements further out to sea to provide sheltered spaces for swimming and bathing. The lines that configure these seawater pools are the same ones that define the recreational areas and the huts on solid ground.
Large pergolas provide shade and meeting areas. Their structure is based on the lines traced when we jump.
Everything must be happiness and sensibility.
